Welcome to Melrose Baptist Church. We hope you enjoy being with us.

We are located in "North County" area of Roanoke, which is on the north side of the Roanoke metro area.

Our front main entrance "A" is accessed from the front parking area right off Peters Creek Road.

As you enter there, you will see the sanctuary/worship center immediately in front of you.

Signs will direct you elsewhere, but generally, the Fellowship Hall and youth areas are to the left, and many Bible Study (Sunday School) classes are to the right as well as the choir room and children's areas.

SUNDAY WORSHIP - 10:45-12:00

Our worship style would be described as "blended." That is, some contempary elements such as choruses included with traditional music such as standard hymns. We may occasionally use some light drums and bass, yet still retain use of a church organ as well as a choir.

We observe Communion monthly (usually first Sunday), and clergy don pulpit robes for those services.

Dress is typically nice casual to a little more dressed up for some folks, but there is no dress code. And, we designate from Memorial Day to Labor Day as a period with even more casual dress style.

Our choir wears robes during Communion Sundays as well as special seasonal Sundays.

There are "greeters" at each entrance door of our church to help get you oriented and welcomed.
